This site is in remembrance of Birgitta Lundberg, who was born in Mölndal, Sweden on December 31, 1948, to Birger Lundberg and Gunvor Lundberg (née Perlström).
She lived for a time in Mölndal, Skövde and Göteborg before emigrating to the UK in 1969. She then lived in first Cambridgeshire and then Coventry, where she studied at Warwick University and then for her Social Work diploma at Birmingham University. She worked for the Social Services department for 28 years, and then after at the NSPCC and Tri.X and as an independent case reviewer for Serious Cases & Domestic Homicide Cases.
Birgitta passed away on July 20th 2022 after a long struggle with Parkinson’s disease and Multiple Myeloma.
